Don't Blame it on the Haze

What is the Malaysians' favourite excuse for car accidents during the haze season? That's right. 'Aiyo, bang, sorry la. Itu Haze kan dah datang. Mata sakit la, tak nampak.' Alright, some will say the haze comes from the open forest burning from other countries. But think deeper, what else causes haze? Smoke! Smoke from vehicles, factories and the most famous-cigarette. While you're in your parent's car, try observing the vehicle in front of you, especially the huge ones. Every 5-10 minutes you'll find out that the vehicle will release black and thick gas. These gas will then rise to the top and destroy our ozone layer. Those which doesn't go to the top? Well, it enters your body!

Vehicles are increasing by the minute and lives are gone by the minute. Try using the catalytic converter. You can also try something even better--stop smoking. You'll not only help yourselves, you can help those around you. Smoking is not fun, nor it makes you look manly. Some of you smoke just to release stress. One advice, put down that cigarette, go see a psychiatrist!

So next time you get a summon for your carelessness on the road, try not blaming it on the haze.

We live on the same earth. This world is dying. Because of us. We need to repent from all mistakes and together, we can change the world.
